Man Dies In Car Accident

      A 53-year-old man died Sunday morning after his car struck a tree in Davidsonville.

      Craig Watson, of Odenton, was traveling north on Patuxent River Road around 9 a.m. Sunday morning when his car left the roadway and struck a tree, Anne Arundel County police spokesman Lt. Glenn Shanahan said.

       "He had what we believe was a medical emergency behind the wheel," Shanahan said. 
      Watson was transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center where he died, officials said.
      Family members were notified and told police that he had an "extensive medical history."
