Matt Mack On Radford U. Coaching Staff


 
    Matt Mack,  an All-Big South conference performer at Radford University is a volunteer assistant baseball coach this year.  A product of Davidsonville, Md., Mack was an important part of the turnaround of the Radford program under Head Coach Raccuia.  A two-time all-conference selection, he posted solid career numbers (2009-12) with a .331 average, 14 home runs and 105 RBIs. Mack was the leading hitter for the Highlanders in 2012 with a .332 average, along with five homers and 40 RBIs.   In addition, he was named Radford University’s male Ironworks Award winner in 2011, recognizing his commitment to strength and conditioning.
    Mack’s day-to-day duties include assisting with all aspects of the program, as well as coaching hitters and infielders.  Mack will also head up the operations of Joe Raccuia Baseball Camps.    Mack earned a Bachelor’s degree in management from RU in May of 2012.
