Davidsonville and Riva residents will now have more recreational space to enjoy thanks to Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks’ recent acquisition of the Carr property located on Riva Road in Davidsonville. According to Rick Anthony, director of Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks, the 36-acre parcel was purchased in September 2013 with the intent to expand Riva Park. The total acreage of Riva Park is now 96 acres.
