Anne Arundel Radio Club will conduct a free, six-week course leading to a technician class amateur radio (HAM) license Saturdays, beginning March 8, from 9 a.m. to noon at its clubhouse located on the grounds of Davidsonville Family Recreation Center, 3789 Queen Anne Bridge Road, Davidsonville. The final session will be followed by a license exam.

A corporate sponsor will provide a free handheld radio (subject to availability) to each student who attends classes and passes the license exam. A course leading to a General Class Amateur Radio License will be held April 26.
