Connor Cox "Rookie Of The Year"

Frostburg State quarterback Connor Cox enjoyed an outstanding freshman season – earning the New Jersey Athletic Conference Offensive Rookie of the Year award. The South River High graduate finished fifth in the league with 1,311 passing yards and 12 passing touchdowns.
Cox also rushed for 537 yards, which ranked second among quarterbacks I the NJAC. The Davidsonville native was named Offensive Rookie of the Week three times and received the Mike McGlinchey Most Valuable Player Award after accounting for 255 yards of total offense in the 17th annual Regents Cup game against archrival Salisbury.
"Connor played well for a freshman quarterback and is very deserving of being named Rookie of the Year," Frostburg head coach DeLane Fitzgerald said. "I'm interested in seeing what improvements Connor makes this offseason and what the future holds for him."
