Dorothy Douglas Passes Away

 
    Dorothy Jean Douglas,  82, of Davidsonville, died at Anne Arundel Medical Center on August 27th, 2013 after a long illness.
      Dorothy was born on February 26th 1931 in Taylorsville, NC. She was one of eight children of Benjimin F. Douglas and Cleo G. Douglas. She worked in Washington, D.C. and Rockville, MD as a paralegal secretary for 37 years. After retiring, she worked for a water proofing company in sales for 16 years.
      Dorothy is survived by her loving daughters, Sonja Whittington and Anita Hemingway; two son-in-laws, Randy Whittington and Bill Hemingway; five grandchildren, Dan Sanders, Chris Sanders, Jaimi Tippett, Kimberly Hemingway and Billy Hemingway; two great-grandchildren, Ava Grace Tippett and Joshua James Sanders. Her family was her passion. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
      A celebration of life service will be held at 4pm on Sunday September 8th, 2013 at Chesapeake Christian Fellowship Church, 377 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD 21035.
