Freshman Ben Priddy is on the Georgetown University Football team this fall. The 6' 0" 180# Severn High graduate from Davidsonville played kicker, punter, quarterback and safety earning letters for 3 years and was selected twice for the All-MIAA and All-Anne Arundel County teams. In 2011 he was First Team All-State for small schools and in 2012 he was First Team All-Metro for Baltimore. He helped Severn to a regular season MIAA Championship in 2011 and led them to the MIAA Championship game in 2012.
On the G. U. roster as a Kicker, he is expected to help as in his junior and senior years at Severn, he made 18 of 23 field goals and also hit 95 of 98 PATs. He also recorded 26 touchbacks and in the 2012 MIAA Championship game he made a record 50 yard field goal.
As quarterback for the team, he threw for 35 TDs and added 8 rushing TDs.
Ben was a member of the Cum Laude Society, National Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society.
