The Abnormal Behavior Domestic Car and Mini Truck Club will hold their fourth annual car-truck-bike benefit show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Knightongale Farm, 3924 Solomons Island Road where it intersects with Birdsville Road in Harwood.
This year the show will benefit a local woman, Melissa Smith, 29, who has been on a whirlwind with her health since she was 22. She underwent chemotherapy for Hodgkin’s lymphoma but was later re-diagnosed. Just a short year after remission, Smith was diagnosed with a rare neurological disease called transverse myelitis, leaving her paralyzed from the chest down.
Friends and family are helping to pay her bills and living costs just to keep a roof over her head. All proceeds from the show will benefit Smith.
There will be tons of awards, food, DJ and fun for the kids, as well as corn hole, a silent auction and much more. All makes and models of cars, trucks and bikes are welcome.
