The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's cross country team was just eight points away from defending their Washington & Lee University Invitational title, finishing second on Saturday morning, Sept. 7, with four top 10 finishes--5th, 6th, 8th, 9th.
David Kersey of Davidsonville (South River High) was the 6th place finisher and is a captain of the team.
