David Kersey of Davidsonville is a team captain for the St. Marys College of Maryland cross country team for this year.
Last year David scored in all eight of the meets the team entered and finished number two in three of them. He was also on the CAC All-Academic team.
The South River High graduate is a junior majoring in biology. He is the son of Richard and Jeanne Kersey.
