Elmer Asquith Passes Away

    Elmer Warren Aisquith, 90, a lifetime resident of Riva, died September 3 at his residence after a two year battle with leukemia. Elmer was a farmer and also owned and operated Elmer Aisquith Bus, Inc., an Anne Arundel County school bus contractor. He was a member of Annapolis Elks Lodge 622 and Annapolis Moose Lodge 296 and in his spare time enjoyed golf, horse racing and being with his family and friends.
     Friends are invited to Elmer's Life Celebration from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, September 5 and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, September 6 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 7 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville.
