DAVIDSONVILLE, MD. (WJZ) — A prison transport was interrupted Thursday evening, May 23, after a single vehicle accident involving the transport van for a federal contractor at 5 p.m.
The accident happened at W. Central Avenue and Timberlake Farm Road with 12 inmates on board.
All 12 passengers are being taken to an area hospital in the same vehicle involved in the accident.
Nine prisoners were said to be checked out but the injuries are described as minor- if any at all.
