Ronald Bonolis Passes Away
Bonolis, Ronald Carroll, "Ron", died suddenly at his home on Kent Island, Saturday, December 9, 2016, he was 76.
Ron was born in Baltimore in 1940 and grew up in Annapolis since the age of 6. He attended St. Mary's school and Annapolis High School. Ron married his wife, Billie Jo Bonolis in March 1977. He retired from Lee Olds/Swanson after 25 years as Sales Manager. He lived in Davidsonville since 1978 until moving to Kent Island in July 2016. Ron enjoyed his family, having them together at home for all kinds of parties or simply quiet time at home. He loved being with his children and grandkids more than they will ever know. He loved to travel and in his younger days he loved hunting, fishing, rifle shooting, racing cars, dancing and NASCAR.
Ron was predeceased by a son, Michael Stephen Bonolis and his parents, Audrey Phipps and Kenneth Phipps. In addition to his wife, Ron is survived by his sons; Ronald William Bonolis, Kenneth David Bonolis, Richard Braxton Bonolis and Joseph David Prosey. Daughter-in-laws; Carolyn Bonolis, Tammy Prosey, Cindy Capparatto and Donna Bonolis. Grandchildren; Michael Bonolis, Stephen Bonolis, Joe Prosey, Brandon Prosey, Jessica Bonolis, Ken Bonolis, Richard Bonolis and Billy Bonolis. Also surviving him is a great grandson, Michael Camden Bonolis and his sisters; Deb Creel and Denise Biles.
Friends will be received on Friday, December 16th from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. at John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis, MD 21401. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 109 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis on Saturday, December 17th at 9:00 a.m. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
