Jingle Bell Walk and Run Sat.

Saturday morning, the sound of jingle bells will fill the air as runners and walkers alike lace up in an event which will ultimately fund Ovarian and Lung Cancer programs and research. The Fifth Annual DeCesaris/Prout Cancer Foundation Jingle Bell Run & Walk of Annapolis will take place at Quiet Waters Park, 600 Quiet Park Road, at 9 a.m. With a 5K Run course as well as a 3K Walk course along the scenic trails of Quiet Waters Park, families are encouraged to attend. Kids under 12 are free with a paid adult. Prizes will be given to race winners in each age group and to those "best dressed" in the spirit of the holidays. Participants and supporters should plan to stay and enjoy the Wellness Marketplace with raffles and refreshments from Baltimore Coffee and Tea, and Robeks.
