Kim Aluisi Passes Away

      Kim DiGiovanni Aluisi, a noted Annapolis lawyer known for her love of family, friends, and celebrations, lost her ferocious 18-month battle against pancreatic cancer on Monday, December 5, 2016, peacefully in her home. She was 56. 
      Kim's life revolved around putting others first. She instantly built connections with people, welcoming them into her Monticello Drive home. During her holiday celebrations, she always included neighbors, extended family, and longtime friends. Kim graduated from Elizabeth Seton High School, University of Maryland, and University of Baltimore School of Law. Well known for her work in family law, she was also named by The Daily Record as one of the Top 100 Women in Maryland Business 2016. 
      She leaves behind her beloved husband, retired Prince George's County Sheriff James V. Aluisi; her son, Prince George's County Police Detective Frank DiGiovanni; mother, Frances E. DeLargo; sister, Laura Priolo; brother, Anthony Dawson, nieces, and nephews. 
      A Memorial Mass will be offered on Wednesday, December 14, at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Annapolis Lighthouse Shelter (www.annapolislighthouse.org) or Hospice of the Chesapeake (www.hospicechesapeake.org).
