Mike Evans suddenly finds himself as the senior member of the Chesapeake Bayhawks lacrosse team The South River High graduate joined the franchise when it was still based in Washington, the 18th overall selection of the 2009 Major Lacrosse League Collegiate Draft following a decorated career at Johns Hopkins.
Evans evolved into the top close defenseman for teams that captured championships in three of four seasons. Now the Davidsonville native is among the last remaining remnants to that successful stretch from 2010-2013.
