Spencer Sets New Record

Pat Spencer scored four goals and had four assists and broke a 38-year old Loyola University Maryland
record for career points on Saturday as the ninth-ranked Greyhounds beat the visiting U.S. Naval
Academy, 18-5, at Ridley Athletic Complex.
With an assist on a Kevin Lindley goal with 35 seconds left in the first half, Spencer tallied his
312th career point, breaking the mark of 311 set by Gary Hanley from 1978-81. He finished the day
with 314 points, two away from moving into the top-10 all-time of NCAA Division I career points.
