Carter Gets Five Goals In Loss


The No. 8 Penn State women's lacrosse team fell 21-10 at No. 14 Princeton on Wednesday night at Sherrerd Field at Class of 1952 Stadium.  The Nittany Lions scored seven goals in the second half, including five by senior Madison Carter.  Penn State dropped to 3-1 overall, while the Tigers improved to 2-1.

Carter led the Nittany Lions with six points, including five goals, with all coming in the second half.  She now has 216 career points, moving into a tie for seventh all-time at Penn State with Laurie Gray (1981-84).  On the day, Carter passed current volunteer coach Steph Lazo (211; 2014-17).  Carter now has 196 career goals.
