Davidsonville resident Pat Spencer is one of the top men's college lacrosse players in the nation but will use up his four years of elgibilty for that sport in spring of 2019. However, he will still have a fifth year of athletic eligibility and hopes to use that to play Division I basketball in the 2019-20 year. He has been keeping his basketball skills honed by competing in the Annapolis Summer League.
