Keith Atchison Passes Away
Keith Porter Atchison of Davidsonville, Maryland, passed away suddenly on May 14th, 2017.
Keith was full of life and is best known for his fun loving demeanor, his love and concern for people, and his love for his family. Keith was always ready to reach out and help anyone in need. He was also always ready for a trip, time with friends and family, or any challenge. A graduate of South River High School where he played junior varsity baseball, Keith worked locally in retail sales. He especially liked the opportunity to meet new people and provide service to them on his job. He always went the extra mile to do things for people-from picking up hitchhikers to buying food for homeless people he saw near his job to helping an overwhelmed co-worker while doing his own job. In his free time Keith could be found long boarding, fishing, hiking, driving friends around, or spending time with his family. Keith had the intellect to figure things out quickly and devise ways to make them better. He also loved to tinker with things to see how they worked and how he could fix them or put them back together. He felt he could fix anything for anyone and most usually succeeded. He was an intelligent young man with a big heart who was a friend to everyone with whom he came in contact. He was taken too soon and will be terribly missed.
Keith is survived by his parents, Carla and Don Atchison, brothers Chad, Brett, Grant, and Cole and his sister Meagan Dupras (Joseph), two grandfathers, Donald Atchison and David Broyles, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him.
A funeral service will be held at the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Annapolis 710 Ridgely Avenue Annapolis, MD on Saturday, May 20th at 11 am. Friends and family may gather one hour prior to service time. After the funeral services, a committal ceremony will be held at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville, MD at 2:30 pm.
