An Odenton man has been charged with a string of home burglaries across the region, Anne Arundel police said on Friday.
Kyle
Wayne Mundy, 32, of Maple Ridge Lane in Odenton, faces burglary and theft
charges in Anne Arundel, Prince George's, Howard and Carroll counties,
according to online court records. As of Friday, online court records indicated
that Mundy was being held in Carroll County.
Police
were not releasing Munday's booking photo Friday afternoon, citing on an
ongoing investigation that spans multiple jurisdictions.
On
July 27, Anne Arundel police responded to a home burglary in the 2500 block of
Vale Court in Davidsonville. Multiple items, including jewelry were taken from
the home, police said.
Detectives
began investigating the incident and were informed by surrounding jurisdictions
that Mundy may be a suspect.
Police
ultimately determined that Mundy sold the items at numerous pawn and jewelry
stores in Baltimore, Nottingham and Ellicott City.
Three weeks after the Davidsonville incident, on Aug. 19, police
responded to a similar home burglary in the 1300 block of Antrim Drive in
Millersville. It was determined that Mundy sold jewelry stolen in that incident
to a pawn shop in Nottingham, police said.
Police are asking anyone with
additional information about the incidents or Mundy to call detectives at
410-222-8776 or at 410-222-1961.
