This Christmas season Grace Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Davidsonville helped to provide Christmas cheer.
The congregation participated in Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child by donating 84 gift filled shoe boxes. Samaritan’s purse has worked since 1993, giving more than 100 million boys and girls in over 130 countries the opportunity to experience God’s love through the power of simple shoe box gifts.
The shoe boxes are filled with an assortment of gifts for children within a variety of age groups. Grace EP has participated in this ministry for about 15 years.
Grace attendees also participated in Anne Arundel County’s annual Holiday Sharing program. The church sponsored 25 children of various ages from around south county. The congregation donated more than 75 gifts to help provide these children a merrier Christmas and demonstrate God’s love in a tangible fashion to our local community.
