Connor Cox at Prep School

Connor Cox of Davidsonville completed his athletic career at South River as a standout athlete in two sports--football and baseball.
A two-time All-County quarterback, Cox was instrumental in leading the Seahawks to successive  postseason berths. In his last two seasons, he threw for nearly 6,000 yards and 72 touchdowns, while leading a  powerful spread offense.
He also batted .380 with a team-leading three home runs and 24 RBIs to help lead South River to its first baseball state championship..
His desire was to play Division I football,  but the desired scholarship eluded him.  He was close to offers from several schools,  but didn't make the grade when the recruiting dust settled.   Looking to be an ideal candidate for prep school to gain additional height, weight, and experience,  he decided to enroll at Loomis Chaffee School in New England for a year to increase the chances of a Division I scholarship.
Below is a nice long article about Connor.
