Rutland Road was closed Tuesday morning after a vehicle struck a utility pole.
The non-injury accident occurred shortly after 6:20 a.m. between Lavall Drive and Defense Highway.
As of 8:45 a.m. the road remained closed as Baltimore Gas & Electric Co. employees worked to repair the pole, Anne Arundel County police spokesman Justin Mulcahy said.
