Lisa Covington was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. She left this world suddenly on May 14, 2022 at age 57.
She was born to Pauline and Lewis Crossley on January 13, 1965. After completing her education, she married her high school sweetheart, Maxwell Covington III. Together, they had 4 children: Carolina, Cierra, Starr, & Max IV. Lisa was a faithful servant to each of her communities in Maryland, Tennessee, and Iowa. She dedicated hours of volunteer work to local churches, schools, and various organizations. She was a skilled artist, fantastic cook, and always had a creative project in the works. She enjoyed gardening, working on the farm, and locally established the produce stand at Marco Ridge Farm in 1990. In recent years, Lisa has enjoyed time spent outdoors, traveling, and out-fishing her husband during evenings on the lake. Lisa will be remembered for her selflessness to others and devotion as a mother and wife.
She is survived by her parents, husband, children, and a brother, Kelly Crossley.
Her funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 22 at 1:30pm at Davidsonville United Methodist Church, 819 W Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD. Interment will immediately follow in the church cemetery. Online guestbook available at: KalasFuneralHomes.com
