State’s Attorney Anne Colt Leitess announced Monday that Dennis Moreno,55, of Norwalk, Calif. and formerly of Davidsonville entered an Alford plea to one count of sex abuse of a minor and was sentenced to 18 years of active incarceration on March 24, 2022. The victim was subjected to the abuse from about 5 years to 15 years. He had a history of sexual abuse of minors, but relatives did not report him until the most recent victim.
