Brenda Lee Frazier of Annapolis, Maryland, died on July 30, 2021 at Rive Terrace Assisted Living in Davidsonville, Maryland.
She was born on June 30, 1948 in Arlington, Virginia and was a long-time resident of Annapolis, Maryland and Amissville, Virginia. Born to Dr. Harry B. Beatty and Margaret McCracken Beatty, she is survived by her husband of 49 years Jack Wilburn Frazier, her two sons Jack Bartton Frazier and Mark Richard Frazier, her daughter-in-law Rhea Elaine Drakis , four grandchildren Cadence, Cassidy, Viola, and Sophia, as well as her sister Linda and brother Wayne.
She grew up with her four siblings in Arlington, Virginia where she attended Jeb Stuart High School. While in school she had fond memories of working at Hot Shoppes, but was soon employed by the Department of Defense where she met her future husband Jack, whom she married on March 4, 1972. They promptly moved to Annapolis, Maryland where they would live for the next twenty years raising their two sons. Upon Jack's retirement in 1992 they moved to Amissville, Virginia where she spent her time beautifying their new home with flowers, trees, and shrubs. After twenty years in the country, she desperately missed Annapolis and moved back in 2012. She will always be remembered mostly for the love she bore her family, but also her passion for sewing, gardening, entertaining, and all things sweet. There will be a private memorial held in her honor.
