Deborah "Debbie" Virginia Lilly, 64, a resident of South Anne Arundel County since 1986 and previously of Hyattsville, MD, died at her home on May 2, 2018.
Born February 15, 1954, in Washington, D.C., to the late Carlisle H. Blanchard and Dorothea Louise Bruns Blanchard, she graduated from Northwestern Sr. High School in 1972. Debbie worked as a secretary with Anne Arundel County Public Schools. She was a longtime member of Chesapeake Christian Fellowship. Debbie loved spending time with her family and friends, serving God, and traveling. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Basil C. Lilly, III; three children, Basil C. Lilly, IV and his wife, Lucy of Hyattsville, MD, Jason Lilly and his wife, Amy of Edgewater, MD, and Marie Lilly and her fiance, Michael Brusio of Shady Side, MD; two sisters, Elizabeth "Cathy" Smith of Lothian, MD and Stephanie Delaney; and three grandchildren, Javier, Kelsey, and Mia.
A celebration of Debbie's life will be held at Chesapeake Christian Fellowship, 377 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD on Tuesday, May 8 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy., Pasadena, MD 21122 or Anne Arundel Veterinary Emergency Clinic, 808 Bestgate Rd., Annapolis, MD 21401.
