Anna "Maggie" Buechling, 80, a resident of Edgewater for sixty years, died on Tuesday, January 23 in Annapolis, MD.
Born on March 4, 1937 in Washington, DC, Maggie was a graduate of Eastern High School and worked for Anne Arundel Co. Public Schools for 47 years.
She was a member of Davidsonville United Methodist Church and was an avid reader who enjoyed going on vacations with her family.
Maggie was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, John H. Buechling. She is survived by her children, Cindy L. and John H. Buechling, II, five grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to celebrate Maggie's life on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD and on Saturday, January 27 from 10 AM until her funeral service begins at 11 AM at Davidsonville United Methodist Church, 819 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland, MD. Contributions may be made to the or a local pet charity.
