Spencer Leads Loyola In Win

Freshman attackman Pat Spencer from Davidsonville led Loyola with three points on two goals and one assist, and Sirico added one goal and one assist as the number two seeded Greyhounds defeated number three seed Bucknell in a Patriot League semi-final game.
The second-seeded Greyhounds (11-3 overall) will play the No. 4-seed U.S. Military Academy in the championship game at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
With a season total of 61 points, Spencer broke a tie with Dave Kasemeyer for the freshman record for points in a season. The  Boys’ Latin graduate, who became the first player in Patriot League history to win Offensive Player and Rookie of the Year honors outright, grabbed sole possession of 14th place for the most points in program history in a season.
