The number 11 ranked Penn State U. women's larosse team narrowly lost to number 1 ranked Maryland 10-9 this week.
Madison Carter of Davidsonville had a team high four draw controls in the game and has scored in 15 of 16 games this season for the Nitany Lions. She now has 39 goals this season.
