Ralph Suit Passes Away

      Ralph Harry Suit, Sr., a 14-year resident of Diamondhead, MS and previously of Davidsonville, MD, died on April 6, 2016, of congestive heart failure following a 15-month illness.
      He was 79. Born May 30, 1936, in Washington, DC, he worked at the U.S. Department of Defense in Washington, D.C. as cartographer until his retirement. Following his retirement, he became part owner of GRC Construction. Ralph served in the Korean War as a pipefitter in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of American Legion Post 226 in Edgewater, MD. Ralph enjoyed fishing, traveling, and woodworking.
      He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Helen Joyce Suit on December 4, 2000. Ralph is survived by his children, Ralph Harry Suit, Jr. of Edgewater, MD and Kimberley Dawn Bush of Diamondhead, MS; three siblings, Charles Edward Suit of Diamondhead, MS, Betty Katherine Kruelle of Edgewater, MD and Shirley Ann Smith of St. Michaels, MD; five grandchildren, Timothy Scott Bush, Jr. of Edgewater, MD, Krescenzia Dawn Bush of Harrisburg, NC, Krister Elias Chrisman of Harwood, MD, Nina Marie Christian of Olympia, WA and Wesley Albert Suit of Annapolis, MD; and three great-grandchildren.
      Friends may call at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. , followed by a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
