Severn School product Ryan Wade is one of eight inductees being formally welcomed into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2013. This year’s eight-person class will be officially inducted in a ceremony on Saturday at The Grand Lodge in Hunt Valley.
Wade, a Davidsonville native, was a three-time All-American at the University of North Carolina and the national midfielder of the year in 1993. Known for his incredible work ethic on and off the field, he helped lead the Tar Heels to the NCAA national championship in 1991 as well as four straight ACC championships during his career (1991-1994). He was selected as the ACC’s player of the year following both his junior and senior seasons.
