At the Davidsonville Country Store, there is plenty going on. We spoke on the phone with the owner of the property, Bobby Neale, who told us that a petroleum services company was taking over and would be moving in shortly. We attempted to reach the new managers by phone, but could not get our call returned. We stopped by on Friday and were told that they were shooting for a reopening this coming week. They have completely redone the inside, with drywall ceilings, new doors and broad glass windows looking out to the pumps out front.
