Pet Rabies and Microchip Clinic Oct. 24

    Anne Arundel County Animal Control will offer an extended rabies and microchip clinic for the public on October 24 from noon to 8 p.m.  at 411 Maxwell Frye Road in Millersville (off Veterans Hwy).
    Maryland law requires that all dogs, cats and ferrets four months of age and older be vaccinated against rabies.    The rabies and microchip clinic is open to any Maryland  resident.  Only animals receiving a rabies vaccination that day or those current with proof will be eligible for a microchip.
   
The rabies vaccines cost $5 per pet and microchips are $20.    Payment can be by check or cash with max denomination of $20.
     Dogs must be  leashed and cats in a carrier.  
    Dress for the weather as the line forms outside the building.
