Jack Baker Passes Away


    Jack Baker (90)  of Davidsonville died Saturday, June 1, 2013 
    He was born in Lake City, FL in 1923 and grew up in Salisbury, NC. He built his own successful excavating, recycling and landfill business in the Washington area for over 50 years.  Jack served proudly in the US Army during WWII in Leyte in the Philippines.
    Beloved husband of the late Helen E. Baker, devoted father of John and Ralph (Terri) Baker and the late Carolyn E. Perrick, brother of June Roberts. Also survived by his brother-in-law JB Roberts and family and his grandchildren, Jason, Brandi, Lee and Jimmy, and great-grandson, Spencer.
    Friends may call on Thursday, June 6 from 1pm until a funeral service begins at 2pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., 800 Wyman Park Drive, Suite 110, Baltimore, MD 21211.
