Charles Michael “Mike” Titsworth, 80, a fourteen-year resident of Davidsonville, MD and formerly of Annapolis, died of heart failure on Sunday, August 13 at his home. Born on April 24, 1943 in Sanford, FL to the late USN Lt. Commander Wilbur Wiggs Titsworth and Wilda Bradley Titsworth, Mike attended Oklahoma University and Cornell University. He was a man of Christian faith, genealogist, history buff, an avid train collector and a member of the Annapolis Rotary. Two great joys in Michael’s life were sponsoring midshipmen from the Naval Academy and going on vacation with all the grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Donna M. Titsworth; his sons, Robert Glenn (Teri) Titsworth of Choctaw, OK and Michael Matthew Titsworth of Ellicott City, MD; his sister, Patricia (William) Morgan of Virginia Beach, VA and his grandchildren, Robert Kyle (Lanie), Michael Brian, Alicia Ryan and Jessica Leigh Titsworth. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Leigh Titsworth. Memorial service will be held at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Tuesday, August 22 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Riva Volunteer Fire Department, 3123 Riva Rd., Riva, MD 21140.
