We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Lawrence J. Filippelli (Davidsonville, Maryland), born in Washington, District of Columbia. He was born March 17 1924 and was 98 years old.
He was predeceased by : his father Frank Filippelli; his wife
Rosemary Filippelli; and his sister Evelyn Costa. He is survived by : his
children, Larry Filippelli, Jr. (Michelle) of Fredericksburg, VA, Francis
Filippelli (Lisa) of Edgewater, MD, Dee Orth (Vince) of Lyons, KS and Maryann
Penn (Taras Vizzi) of Stewartstown, PA; and his grandchildren, Michael,
Bradley, Rich, Laura, Jen, Brandi and Jessie. He is also survived by 11
great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 1st 2022 from
3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory (2973 Solomons
Island Rd, Edgewater, MD 21037). A mass of christian burial will be held on
Monday, May 2nd 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (826 W
Central Ave, Davidsonville, MD 21035).
