Julia Zorn Coaching At Washington U.

Davidsonville native Julia Zorn has been hired as an assistant soccer coach at Washington College in Chestertown, MD.
Julia played Division I soccer at Iona College and Towson University. Zorn began her collegiate career at Towson, earning Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) All-Academic Team honors in 2008, her lone season with the Tigers before transferring to Iona. At Iona, she helped the Gaels finish third in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) in 2009, their highest conference finish in five years. She was also named to the MAAC All-Academic Team in 2010 and served as her team's Student-Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) representative.
An exceptional Dean's List student, Zorn graduated from Iona in 2012 with a 4.0 grade-point average and two degrees - a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Psychology. She has performed an extensive amount of research in both fields. She holds a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. A Maryland native, Zorn spent two summers as a youth soccer coach for Davidsonville Athletics.
