Thomas Edgar Mills, 72 of Davidsonville passed away on January 27, 2017.
Tommy was born in Washington, DC to the late Roy and Hazel Mills on October 25, 1944. He grew up in Hyattsville and graduated from Northwest High School before entering the U.S. Navy in 1969. Tommy was a Seabee in Vietnam until he left the Navy in 1973. He owned Discount Muffler and Brake in Temple Hills and was a member of Capital Street Rods Car Club and the Rusty Nut Car Club. Tommy enjoyed fixing and restoring cars, especially hot rods.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Mills; and his sister, Elsie Sisson. He is survived by his two sons, Kevin Mills of Minot, ND and Craig Jocius of Annapolis; his brother, Kenneth Mills of Yarmouth, MA; and a grandson, Connor Mills.
Friends are invited to celebrate Tommy's life on Thursday, February 23 from 4 - 7pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the , 1850 York Road, Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093.
