The South County Pre-Kindergarten Co-op is a
cooperative pre-school that has been serving the Edgewater-Davidsonville areas
since 1976. A parent cooperative preschool is organized by a group of families
with similar
philosophies who hire trained teachers to provide their children with a quality preschool experience. The preschool is administered and maintained by the parents. The parents assist the professional teachers
in the classroom on a rotating basis and participate in the educational program. Each family shares in the business operation of the school, thus making it a truly cooperative venture.

over 20 years and believes that a child’s work is their play.Children learn
through active thinking and creative experimenting. Our
