Thomas Kreidler Passes Away
Thomas "TK" Kreidler, 65, a ten year resident of Davidsonville, MD and formerly of Edgewater, MD died on January 7, 2015 at the Mandrin Inpatient Care Center in Harwood, MD after a twelve year battle with cancer.
Born in Dansville, NY on May 19, 1949, TK graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. He was as a Vice President at Sun Microsystems, Inc. for 15 years, the Vice President and General Manager at Juniper Networks, Inc. and the Vice President of Sales at Lumeta Corporation. Most recently, TK had been the Vice President of Government Sales at General Dynamics since January of 2012. He served on the Boards of Directors for the National and International Center for Missing and Exploited Children, The National Science Center and St. Mary's College. He was a member of AFCEA, SASA, the Navy League and in his spare time enjoyed golfing, sailing, skiing, fishing, hunting and horseback riding.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Kreidler, whom he married on July 15, 1977; his three daughters, Katie Kreidler of Baltimore, MD, Kassy Scalone and her husband, Joe of Edgewater, MD and Carey Kreidler of Davidsonville, MD; his parents, Walter and Ruth Kreidler of Grand Junction, CO; his grandson, Liam Scalone and two brothers, Lee and Richard Kreidler both of Grand Junction, CO.
Friends are invited to TK's Life Celebration from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, January 16 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD where his funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 17.
