From the Capital-Gazette:
A motorist was hospitalized Tuesday evening following a head-on crash in Davidsonville.
The wreck occurred at 5:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of Central Avenue West, said Capt. Russ Davies, a spokesman for the county Fire Department.
A pick-up truck collided head-on with a sedan being driven by a 46-year-old man, who became trapped inside his vehicle. It took firefighters 15 minutes to extricate the man from the sedan, Davies said.
The man was transported by ambulance to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with injuries that were considered serious but not life-threatening.
Two people in the pickup truck refused medical treatment, Davies said.
