Burgess Died With Multiple Stab Wounds

    Nicole Burgess, 37, who was found dead in a Davidsonville home on March 22 died as a result of multiple stab wounds according to a police report. 

    Police said that a deceased dog at the scene, a Pitbull mix, also died as a result of multiple stab wounds. At this time, police say that the death of the female victim and the dog are connected, however, the motive in this case is unknown.

    It is unclear if this was a random or targeted incident and police said this remains an active homicide investigation. 

    According to a press release, officers responded at 11:29 a.m. on Friday, March 22 to the 3300 block of Royale Glen Court in Davidsonville where they discovered the Burgess' body.
