Wilma Louise Lanneau, a 49-year resident of Davidsonville, MD, and previously of Annapolis, MD died on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at her home. Known to family and friends as "Billie Lou" or "Doots", Wilma was born on July 27, 1937, in Epping Forest to the late William and Eleanor Wilson. She was a graduate of Annapolis High School and Strayer Business School and she worked for the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company for 19 years and the State of Maryland for 20 years. Wilma was a member of Bay Area Community Church and enjoyed cooking, helping others, gardening, traveling, and hummingbirds. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Charles J. Lanneau, and her brother, William Porter Wilson of Morehead City, NC. Friends are invited to celebrate Wilma’s life at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, September 5 from 11 a.m. until her funeral service begins at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Davidsonville.
