The No. 1 Loyola Maryland Greyhounds received four Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse weekly honors while Lafayette grabbed one, as weekly awards were announced on Monday by the League office.
Loyola Maryland senior attackman Pat Spencer was named the Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week. Spencer had his third seven-point game in as many games this season in the 13-7 win over Rutgers, scoring a game-high five goals to go with two assists. The senior earned a hat trick before the 3:30 had elapsed in the game after the Scarlet Knights took a 1-0 lead. In the game, Spencer moved into a tie for 17th-place on the NCAA all-points list with 28.
Spencer, an eight-time Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week, is now the most decorated offensive weekly honoree in Patriot League men’s lacrosse history.
