The AA Co. School Board Nominating Commission is accepting applications for the vacancies left by former members Andrew Pruski and Amalie Brandenburg. Pruski's seat was at-large, while Brandenburg represented District 33, which covers areas of Crofton, Davidsonville, Gambrills, Millersville, Odenton and Severna Park.
Mailed or emailed applications to fill the vacancies will be accepted until close of business on Jan. 6. Candidates must complete financial disclosure forms and be prepared to talk to the School Board Nominating Commission on Jan. 13 at 7 p.m.
A second meeting for public testimony will be held Jan. 15.
Applications should be submitted to School Board Nominating Commission of Anne Arundel County, 2644 Riva Road, Annapolis, MD 21401 or emailed to sbncacc@gmail.com. Applications that are emailed should be in PDF format.
