Students from across Anne Arundel County in grades 6-12 competed for awards and prizes in the Regional Science and Engineering Fair. More than 300 projects in 17 categories were entered.
South River High School sophomores Sally Albright and Allison Raines finished in second place for their project, “Don’t Be Selfish, Save The Shellfish,” which investigated how the pollution of the Chesapeake Bay from ethylene glycol anti-freeze affects oysters.
