Edith Keller Passes Away





    Edith May Keller, "Edie," of Heritage Harbour and previously of Harbour Hills in Davidsonville, died at Civista Medical Center on March 17, after a short illness. She was 82.
    Born January 10, 1932 in Eureka Springs, AR, she graduated from Bladensburg High School in 1948 and attended the University of Maryland for two years.
    Edie was a homemaker most of her life. She was president of the Buoy-Bells at the West River
Yacht Club. Edie enjoyed playing cards, especially Bridge and Poker. She also enjoyed baking. Edie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jerome "Jerry" Keller; a son, Clifford Keller; and a sister, Norma Samborn.
    She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Peterson of White Plains; four grandchildren, Jerry Strauss of Marbury, Susie Martin of Key West, FL, Walter Peterson of Waterbury,
VT and Erica Peterson of Fort Washington; and 10 great-grandchildren.   
    Friends are invited to Edie's Life Celebration from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 21, at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Ave.,
Davidsonville. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the
