On March 10, 2014, at 6 pm. "Mustang Sally" Ring was lifted Home to her Savior and became our Angel.
Sally was born on April 1, 1957 to Joe and Mary Manley in Tucson, Arizona, the 9th of 12 children.
She was the beautiful wife, best friend, and soul mate of Dan Ring; the proud, loving and protective "Mama Bear" to her children, Stacy O'Neil and Jimmy Ring, and son-in-law Jim O'Neil; The oh-so-proud and adoring "Bee" to her beloved grandchildren, Danny Boy and Riley Anne. She was a loving sister and friend to Jim (Susan) Manley, Joe (Kathy) Manley, Mary (Dennis) Henley, Fran Manley, Pat Manley, Mike (Susan) Manley, Kate Selby, Tim (Mel) Manley, Tom (Cindy) Manley, John Manley, TJ (Don) Fletcher, and Tim (Jeanne) Ring; The loving aunt to over 40 nieces and nephews, and great-aunt to over 25 nieces and nephews. She was a loyal and loving friend to so many. Her superhuman strength and enthusiasm for life and family was inspiring, her laugh was infectious, and her hugs were like gold. She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories, and a hole in our hearts that could never be filled.
Friends and family are invited to Sally's Life Celebration on Friday, March 14th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, Maryland. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:30 am on Saturday, March 15, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Avenue, Davidsonville. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
